While many companies continue to review their operations to identify additional profit improvement opportunities, it is important to remember that revenue generation is essential to survival. Without sales, there cannot be profits to pay for expenses. Generating profitable growth requires a plan.  A plan to support the existing business and one for growing the business. Taking market share and seeking new opportunities are the keys. This is achieved through researching needs and opportunities, segmentation and diversification, focus and execution. Don't be afraid to look for new venues as markets are changing.
