Our team has spent their entire careers working in and/or with this industry and remain valued advisors and consultants to those navigating the increasingly competitive market. Once exclusively part of our electrical practice, the lighting industry has grown by leaps and bounds, and we’ve evolved to make it an area of specialization. With more than 30 years working in the lighting industry, our team’s pedigree boasts stints with lighting companies ranging from start-ups to industry conglomerates and everything in between; from specification lines to those focused on “white goods” to support the renovation market, as well as controls. We’ve conducted research with lighting specifiers and contractors; worked with, and solicited input from, lighting reps, supply reps and distributors; and helped manufacturers address market insight and business strategy questions/issues that drive performance. Since 2017, we’ve run a quarterly Pulse of Lighting study available to the industry on behalf of an analyst firm. No other consulting group offers our depth of knowledge in, and connection to, the lighting industry.

With our deep roots in the electrical and lighting industries, it was a natural progression to reach out to related industries. After working in and with adjacent industries, we understand the issues faced by contractors, plumbers, and HVAC specialists, and we can use this experience to help them boost their business. We supplement our own experience by bringing in “Executives in Residence” who have deep knowledge after decades in their respective industries, such as our plumbing expert, who boasts 50 years in the trade.
